The Base Explorer is the most affordable and compact climbing frame in our Discovery range. It’s available in 1.5m or 1.8m platform height to give little ones plenty of headroom as they grow. The ground floor den and upstairs platform are spacious and can be comfortably used by 4-5 children at the same time, whilst still providing safe access to the monkey bars, slide and ramp.
This is not your average climbing frame; it’s much bigger than most climbing frames on the market. It’s also suitable for all ages and not just toddlers, unlike most cheaper alternatives, due to the generous platform height. Built with commercial grade timber - Scandinavian, pressure-treated Redwood, which is known for its good quality, this is a robust construction that will last for many years to come, reflected by our 15 year guarantee on the timber (against rot and infestations).

Useful Information
Professional Installation
We know it can be difficult to install a big climbing frame solo, and so we recommend using Discovery's in-house installation team. They offer a complete installation service throughout mainland UK.
Installers are fully trained, clean and tidy and they will always help you site your equipment where it’s best and ensure you are happy with everything before they leave.
We agree a date to come and commence the build. In most cases, assembly involves a 3-man team, and it takes around 2/3 days for a single frame set.
Worried that you might be moving house in the future?
We’ve got you covered. The Discovery installation team can help you dismantle your climbing frame, take it to the new property and have it rebuilt!
